Plateau Geoscience Group LLC is a woman-owned business founded in 2009 and based on Clark County Washington. Dr. Mavis Kent, Principal and Owner of Plateau Geoscience Group LLC has more than 40 years of field, analytical and project management experience gained through work on diverse geotechnical, environmental and engineering geologic projects.
Dr. Kent gained extensive experience in site investigations for small and large geotechnical projects and environmental regulatory programs while working for state environmental agencies in Oregon and California on large industrial, commercial and government research facilities and Superfund sites that have required both upland and sediment investigations.
Since founding Plateau Geoscience Group LLC, Dr. Kent has provided environmental services for medium to large industrial clients in Oregon and Washington including serving as technical project manager for the remedial investigation of the former Goldendale Aluminum Smelter in Goldendale Washington.
